Sometimes life doesn't go according to plan. Sometimes you find yourself on a road you never imagined you'd travel. Sometimes it can scare the pants off you. This is the story of how our little family came to be, continues to grow and how we (attempt to) manage the chaos.

9 Months
We were told she'd be home by the time she was 4 months old. Today our precious girl is 9 months old. Hang on, sweetie, we'll get there!
Hi Shannon, I've been following your blog. I love seeing your little guy. Our son is from Kyrgyzstan and home in October of '07. We are also in the process of waiting to bring our second son home from Kyrgyzstan. We received his referral when he was 2 months old. He is now 15 months. Our prayers are with you and all waiting families. Can't wait to hear good news along with you!!!
Hi Shannon, just happened to have time to read your blog today, April 2nd. I hope today brings good news! Seeing the pic of E with his kite makes me laugh. We just returned from Mexico and the girls had an inflatible Elmo kite, which they only wanted to hold, and got totally upset with me for trying to show them how to fly it! Hang in there, I'm thinking of you.

I hope youu get some good news soon. I feel your frustration and wish I had that magic wand to make it change.
Happy 9 months, Baby K! Just wait until you get home - you won't believe how many people already love you here!
I'm sure E can't wait for baby sister to come home. He looks so happy and I love his boots!
