Two years....

...that you've been waiting

...and we've been trying

...that you've been suffering

...and we've been hoping

...that you've been alone

...that we've been praying

Happy birthday, sweet girl. Thank you for being strong. Thank you for being patient. Thank you for keeping your spirit in spite of your circumstance. I hope one day that you will feel the love of our family. I hope that you will look back and realize that even when you were all alone, we never stopped thinking of you and fighting for you.

Your brother (with a little help from Mommy) made you a wonderful purple cake. Hopefully next year you can be here to celebrate.

We'll never give up on you!

I have had a frustrating day of missing daughters...I am not the only one I see! happy birthday sweet K! If they are having trouble feeding the children in the orphanages...maybe they should let them come home! I am sure UNICEF would rather they starve than be a "victim" of international adoption...ugggggg!!!

So very touching....I hope prayers will be answered soon, how blessed you all are to have each other. May her next birthday be as a united family.

So moving. I am sorry your little girl is not home with you for her second birthday, that is quite a purple cake you made to celebrate! Hoping that she is home to be part of your loving family very soon. Glad your little M is doing better these days!
